Hello, I'm John Orcutt and I am originally from Poughkeepsie New York. I come from a family of three brothers, one sister and two terrific parents. Growing up in upstate New York we were exposed to the nature in the Catskill Mountains, where we took numerous hunting and camping trips with my father and brothers.
In 1968 I graduated high school and was promptly encouraged to attend college. I attended the University of Rochester where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in 1972. I then realized I had a passion for law and was accepted to Union University, Albany Law School where I graduated in 1975 and passed the New York State Bar in 1976.
I have been practicing bankruptcy law in the state of North Carolina since 1987. I tried a few legal fields at first but consumer debt rights really caught my passion. I am now a one trick pony whose entire professional career consists of consumer bankruptcy law. My objective is to help good people through bad financial times by offering debt relief services.
